Overload!

Hey, y'all!

Just wanted to pop in and let you know I haven't forgotten this blog, or you my sweet readers. I have just been a little bit on overload.

I got sick on Christmas and thought I'd deal with it myself. Took some over the counter meds for over a week and not much relief. I finally was able to get out of bed and felt like dressing in something other than my jammies around New Years Day.

I finally had to suck it up and go to the doctor on Monday. Found out I have a sinus infection (I get them once a year) and it moved to my chest. It was caught before it became bronchitis or walking pneumonia, thankfully! So after getting prescribed a Zpak and a cortisone shot (in the hinny!!) I felt better yesterday thanks to the shot. Today, going backwards because I am swelling and it is hard to breath. LT has been great at taking care of me, but let's face it, he is not momma. I'll still keep him.

In other news, I have joined 2, yes 2, online classes. One is a year long, you do a scrap book project once a month, in which I am immersing myself in my word of the year: BRAVE. I am really excited for the class! I am not real creative, but this is going outside my box, which is what being brave is working towards. I am taking this journey with Ali Edwards. You can join up here: http://aliedwards.com/shop/one-little-word-2014

The second class is by Brene Brown. I have read her book Daring Greatly and it really spoke to me. Well, actually,  it hit me upside the head. I have been wanting to do something with her and her book. This opportunity just fell into my lap and I quickly joined up. It is a 6 week course with something to do every week. Brene is doing the class through Oprah. You can get more information here:

All that to say, I may be a bit busier with other projects and won't be blogging as often as I have or like to do. Be patient, dear ones. I will be sharing my journey with you!

I aslo linked up with Bailey Jean at Anchored in Love about our One Little Word. It is great to see others participating, growing, living, thriving. I am hoping to join every month!
